I've had an unexplained rattle every time I've hit a bump the last week. I've checked everything in my steering and suspension and everything is tight. The only thing that seems to be amiss is this u-joint. It looks like its leaking , but its not missing any of its caps. Could this be causing the rattle and should I replace the U-joint? Anyone have any pointers on replacing it, this will be my first.

 

Have you checked it by hand to see if there is any play in it?

Leaking grease isn't a good thing, but it would be nice to know if it's the source of the noise.
