Default Bestop Supertop NX

Just installed my new Supertop NX on my 2011 JK. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how long it will take for the top to stretch out enough that it won't feel like I need to use a come-along to be able to get the header secured?

As a side note... I just want to give a shout out to Quadratec for providing great customer support. After I got the top installed and took it out for a drive I noticed light coming through a small pin hole in the top over the passenger seat. I called Quadratec and with no hassles, they are shipping out a new top. So now I get double the fun of installing a new soft top.

Put mine on a week ago and it took a few days in sunny England.

Just ordered a new Mopar tailgate bar as the stock one is a bitch to take off - 2 cut fingers already.

I had one on my 2002 TJ and they are a bitch to put on when its cold out. As soon as the temp gets above 75 it will get real soft and easy to work with. I'll will definitely be getting one for my 2012 as soon as I sell the one from to TJ. P.M. if anyone's in the jersey area and wants a nx top for there TJ selling it cheap.

I've had mine on a couple months now, took a couple days to work the wrinkles out. Now, I have no problems getting the windows on/off, top latched down. It definitely gets easier once it's on for a bit.

Little trick I learned when I had pickups with toneau covers was to stick an electric space heater inside. Having a garage helped keep it warmer and the bigger cabin of the JK vs the bed of a pickup would take longer but it worked well for me taking it on and off in the winter.
