Default Rear swaybar links after lift?

I have about 3" lift on my JK. I have installed the JKS quick discos on the front swaybar and have that leveled as per instructions. Does the rear swaybar also need longer links allowing the swaybar to sit at parallel +/- 5 degrees like the front?

Will I require a rear track bar relocation bracket as well or is this dependant upon any axle shift I might get from the lift?

Or is an adjustable rear sway bar a better choice than the bracket?

Thanks.

ideally, you will want to install longer links in the rear as well. if you haven't installed a rear adjustable track bar, you will want to do that OR, install a relocation bracket as they will help you to recenter your axle.

Longer links, check. No problem. I can do that easily enough. Looks like all I need to do is measure for what I need and buy accordingly.

I understand the idea of needing to recenter the rear axle after lifting, but for 3" of lift will I be better served with a bracket or an adjustable track bar?

Apparently it is an either/or issue.

Is there a strength issue with the factory rear track bar mount in which I would be better off installing (for example) the Tera Flex "big" bracket that bolts up in three places? Or would the (for example) the JKS rear adjustable track bar be just fine with the stock mount?

Thanks again!

if you can, i would recommend that you get an adjustable set made for your lift height. it'll give you more options and that's nice as few lifts actually measure up to what is advertised. most are in fact taller. also, adjustable rear links will allow you to purposefully set the passenger side longer and that will help address the lean that all JK's have.

the factory mount is relatively weak but, with just 3" of lift, you should be fine with just installing an adjustable track bar. while a relocation bracket will help correct its geometry and help recenter your axle more affordably, it's not a precision part and, by itself, your axle will most likely still be a tad off one way or the other. not a real big deal but, it is something to be aware of.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick reply and good advice!

Now I just have to buy more parts.
