Okay, a 2011 on 35's with an auto and limited slip rear.

I bought G2 gears and full install packs through the installer. He only will do full install packs not minors. Installed out the door: $1487

He recommended non synthetic gear oil and a break in period of; drive it 20 miles, easy on the skinny, and let it totally cool.

Then drive it conservatively for 1000 miles and then do what ever.

Isn't there a drain and refill/flush some place in there? Seems like I did that a lot of years ago on another jeep I changed gears on?

He said the drain wasn't necessary any more with the new gears as the tolerances are a lot better now.

What say all of you gear heads out there?

I just had 5.13's installed in my 2010 Rubi......they filled the diffs with standard gear oil....wants to have it back between at least 500 miles, but not over 1000 miles, to check the wear pattern and backlash and then will refill with whatever gear oil I want...Yukon gear sets with master install kits.

Any time I had a gear swap they recommended a lube change. The times varied but between 500 and 1000 "easy" miles
