Default terafelx 2.5 questions

Just curious if anyone is running this set up or has any experience with it? terafelx 2.5 suspension lift with shock adapters and rear sway bar drop brackets . Want to use these brackets in order to keep stock rubi wheels and not have to use wheel spacers.

Lots of folks running that setup here. I would suggest new shocks if your running X-shocks instead of the extensions.

I have a 2011 rubicon with 7k on it so the shocks are still good, eventually down the road when I need them I will ditch the adapters and just get new shocks but my main concern right now is the use of the rear sway bar drop brackets with the stock rims instead of using wheel spacers. I didn't see anywhere on here where there were opinions on them etc.

Also with the teraflex lift it states to move your stock rear sway bar links to the front so what I am thinking I need to do is still use the stock ones in the rear since the bracket lowers them down to work with the stock rims and just purchase another set of stock rears to use in the front....does this sound right?

thanks
Tammy

I'm not aware of any drop brackets for swaybar links. Essentailly you put the rear in the front and take the longer links supplied in the coil kit and put on the rear. Niether has an effect on the rims you are running.

Are you talking about the tracbar bracket?

I installed this lift on my 07 2dr. It's. Great economical lift. The kit comes with longer rear sway bar links which do not rub on factory wheels as long as they are installed properly. Then you take your original rear links and install those on the front since they are longer than the originals from the front. Also make sure you use the rear trac bar relocation braket. Any other questions just ask

I was under the impression that you would have to use spacers no matter what....Is this not true?

I am running the 2.5 spacer lift. For me it was just a temp fix to fit the 35's that i found really cheap. I havent had any problems but am ready for an upgrade

Nope. Mine fit just fine. As long as the link is on the correct side of the bracket, you won't have any rubbing on the wheels

It varies Jeep to Jeep really. Some do and some don't. If it does and you don't want to buy spacers until you get aftermarket wheels with the proper backspace then just leave the original Sway bar links in place...as I was told by Teraflex.

This is a great lift, easy instal and excellent handling. I have gotten a lot of compliments on the look. Paired with the TF shocks it rides great.
