Default Low down on 2007 Sahara with 325-65-18 and 4.10s w/ auto

Well I got my 35's and have 4.10s. Have not fixed speedo/trans shifting yet and speedo is 5-6 mph off at 65 or 70-71mph.

Around town driving is fine, I can still pull out and jump in traffic on a busy street w/o fear of getting run over! Still pulls and gets going.

Only real difference on the highway is O/D is not able to accelerate when doing over 60-65. don't know if sea level effects Fuel injected but we are below sea level.

MPG is showing at 14-15 and best of 17mpg, but again thats around 5mph slower reading that I am actually going. divide reading by 60 and multiply by 65 true mph gives be about 1.25 mpg above the computer reading.
Also the best of 17mpg was cruising around 67 mph (62 on speedo).

i don't get a lot of downshifting on the overpasses unless it a long gradual incline. If I keep rpms between 19-2100, I find it holds speed better going up overpasses and bridges and usually doesn't downshift.

I also tried to cruise at 80mph (75speedo) yesterday and it started to gradual lose mph over a 2 mile stretch so I gave up.

overall, I can live with the 4.10s for my DD, it still pulls and accelerates when it drops down into 3rd for passing gear on getting up to Highway speeds!

I am debating Procal or Superchips currently to fix speedo. both would correct shift points and superchips would "maybe" help highway cruise, possibly be able to gain mph in o/d?? so I am stuck on the $149 vs $330 decision when I don't really have a huge need for power as some people reported constant gear hunting in o/d. Superchips would be nice but I didn't find that the Jk needs that much optimization like it helped my ford f150 (which seemed to fall down getting on highway shifting into 2nd)

so if your debating 4.10 with 35s! Go for it!

any opinions on Procal and Superchip?

??

I've got the same set up, but I got the aeroforce intercepted guage to correct speedo. It also has a lot of cool features that I use everyday. Money well spent

Well. I added the aev procal to fix speedOond turned on day time running turn signals.

Around town driving seems to have more pep as it shifts sooner. Hwy is doing good with very little increase in speed while in o/d.but doesn't downshift except for long incline on ramps and bridges.

However, the wind has finally dies down and I was doing 75 home today and was getting 16.5 so I'm happy with that. WA only getting 17-18 doing 75-80 before.

4.10s are fine all around driving is fine, I am not looking to regear at all. Did just order my RC bl though to get a little more gap in the fender well. Tires look too stuffed:-)

Aev is super easy!!!!!!!

If you want improved performance, go with the Superchips. There is a reason it costs more...it does more. The Procal does nothing to improve the performance of the motor. Plus you have the ability to use the advanced transmission tuning

I knew the procal would not improve power only city shifting primarily and correct speed. On highway it shifts easier now. Before I really had to step on the gas to get it to downshift.
I also don't find that my trans shifts that bad in the first place. Now my 2005 f150 fx4 sucked and programmer helped that out alot.

From stock to to "35s" with my 4.10s.

For anyone debating going to 35s should not worry. At least with 4.10s and auto. In my case anyway below sea level!!
