Default Bestop Highrock Slider Step opinions

Anyone have any experience with the Bestop "HighRock 4X4 Slider Step for JK Wrangler, 07-12Part Number: 49313" ?

I'm going to lift the Rubicon 3" plus larger tires and my wife is vertically challenged. She has to be able to get in the jeep around town and I need rocker protection off rod. These slider steps seem to be a good idea IF they hold up to medium to difficult trails.

How do they hold up as rocker guards on rocky trails?

Hmmm...Interesting. My GF is also "fun sized" and it's hard for the kids to get in and out on mine as well.

That said, I don't know how well these would hold up to rocks and other trail damage. I'm also not crazy about having to pull them out by hand especially if they're covered in mud.

Some real world feedback would be great though.
