Also, unfortunately used 80% highway/city driving and only 20% off road.

Go with the 4.88's.. Many will argue because of the benefits of the new motor, however a good modo to follow is, "don't fear the gear!"

i'm doing lift, wheels, tires, gears in the next 3-4 weeks and i'm going back and forth between 4.10's and 4.56's. i wheel 1-2 times a month and I think that for most this is about how much they actually get out. so if you do the math; for the avg jeeper its more like 95% on-road and 5% off.

For your situation being you have a 2012,
6 speed and do alot of hiway driving..... I'd deffinately go with the 4.56
Good luck

I've been running 4.56's for 6 months now.. Absolutely no regret! I feel it's the best combo.. I'm have a 2012 unlimited on 35's.. I do 80% highway as well.. Some hills, which it pull in 6th gear and hold 65mph and can even accelerate if need be.. My 3.21 would have had me down shifting just to hold 60.. Best of luck with your decision!!
