Default Rubi Springs on my weak sprung ride

I have a 2010 Mountain 2 door. My springs are 55 and 14, there is a forum member with rubi unlimited 59 and 18.

How would that work and how much boost would I get?

Is this a compatible possibility?

Thanks Guys,
Ol Bob

I had the same springs on my 10 two door. Got a set of 18/59s and gained about 1.75 inches. Do it, you won't be disappointed. Look for some low mileage Rubi shocks too.

I got the exact same result and the ride was DRAMATICALLY improved. I left one front TF leveling spacer, removed the second and the rear. Roll, yaw, squat and dive were drastically improved. Even more so now that I have the hard top off.

Yes.. Typically the higher rate springs came in the JKU Rubi with the tow package and hard top... so they are a direct fit to your JK.

Thanks guys. Looking for some shocks also. Maybe Skyjackers or Daystar. They're priced reasonably and should be better than the stock rubi shocks. Any opinions?

I just did the springs when I did my Teraflex BB. I went off roading this weekend and the ride was STIFFFFFFF. I couldnt stand it. I would HIGHLY recommend getting new shocks. The factory shocks are rated for a certain spring ratio and the stiffer springs wont go well with the factory shocks.

I'd highly recommend the rubi shocks over the skyjackers, typically you get what you pay for!!

If he's using the shocks that came with the springs he's good to go, should be a great ride
