Default Synthetic winch rope wear

I have done a few pulls now with my synthetic winch rope and I've noticed some significant wear on the rope now.
I have a smutty built aluminum fairlead and it feels totally smooth. I have the technora rope.

Anyone else have this problem? I'm thinking I need to go to a roller fairlead.

I have the daystar rollers made for the synthetic line and it works great. I have no experience with the aluminum fairleads so I couldn't help you there.

You might call jeepswag and ask them if that is normal of that rope. I would stick with a hawse fairlead with synthetic
