Default Lift Kit Options for 2012 Unlimited???

Looking for reliable, cheap, and proven for "on-road" use only. Not interested in going "off-road" at all. Been there, done that. I just want the look. It will be my daily driver. I'd like to throw some XD Monsters on with some Nittos (Terra or Trail Grappler). What are my best options?

Teraflex 2.5 coil lift. You'll love it. Not hard to put on, ride is better then stock.

I just did the exact setup you are interested in two weeks ago. 2.5" Teraflex, 325/60/18 terra grapplers and 18 x 9 rockstars on a 2012 JKU.

Wow! Your Jeep looks great. Can you give me more specifics on which Teraflex kit you went with and how the ride compares to stock ride. Did you lose any power transfer and have you seen a big drop in fuel economy since? Thanks.

I did the all spring Teraflex lift with the shock extensions. Ride is just as good as stock with the tires at 30 to 32psig. Any higher and you feel it more, the tires are pretty wide though at 13 inches. No rub issues whatsoever with the 5" backspacing and the tires stick outside the fenders about 1 1/2" to give it the wide stance look. Overall I am very happy and my wife drives it as her DD and she just came out of a loaded Tahoe LT with no complaints.

I will eventually go with better shocks but ordered the kit the same day I bought the Jeep and hadn't decided yet.

Oh yeah, very little power loss. Just at the very low, lugging RPM range.

Don't for get us a Rough Country. If you are looking for simple and inexpensive we have a entry level 2.5 spacer kit for $129 and we can even do new coils and shocks for $329. Those prices don't include your forum discount either!
