Just wondering if anybody has put a new exhaust behind the 3.6L. How does it sound, and what's you opinion?

my db corsa sounds ricey. hoping desperately it deepens. people had said the gibson was to loud, whatever that mean.

 

Just installed the banks monster exhaust. Deeper sound without the drone. Also no ricer sound

 

Mines straight piped. Pulled the muffler off and everyone loves it sounds awesome after a day or 2

 

I did a muffler delete and resonator delete then installed a thrush glass pak I love it!

Heres what my 2012 sounded like without muffler. Sounded pretty good from inside, not the greatest outside, but i had no tip if that matters. Give it a try. Takes 15 minutes, an adjustable wrench, some WD40 and a prybar helps to get the two rubber hangers off. Only one bolt. Do it!!

 

If you don't like it, takes no more than 5 minutes to put it back on.
