Default Smittybilt xrc fenders with gobi steath on jku question

I just got the ok from the boss, and I really want this combo... Will they work together... The part in question is the rear quarter panel on the xrc... Please help

I don't have a rack, but I do have the XRC fenders and I am doubtful that they will work unmodified.
But that doesn't have to stop you...

Did you end up making this work? Just landed a nice trade for a stealth rack over the weekend. I plan to cut out a rectangle in the rear fenders, allowing the post to get flush on the frame.

The last post from @Rubicon Beast was Nov 26, 2016. The last post from @d1gt-x8 was Jan 29, 2013. So, as forums go, it's unlikely to get a response, except from smart-a$$es like me!

Oh man! Well, have you seen it done? About to give the fenders a whack with a dremel and see if I can't get a solid notch in the rear panels.
