I'm about to embark on swapping my stock gears out for a set of 4.88 gears and have been interested in the G2 Performance gears. Wanted to see if anybody has ran G2 or any info. on how they worked out for you or someone you know running them. Any info would be appreciated thanks

 

im running yukons but my buddy is running g 2 s over a yr wheeling with no troubles. imho i think that any gear set will be fine richmond yukon g 2

 

How have you liked your Yukons? what ratio are ya running?

 

im running 4.88 s havent broke and they are quiet about all you can ask for the reason i went yukon was at the time i wanted to do the gear swap the yukons were in stock the g2 were not.

 

I have 20,000 miles on my 4.88 G2's ... Locked Front and Rear ... no problems and still quiet.

got G2 5.13s, after a year I found chipped teeth on the ring and had to have them redone. 4WD warrantied them, but I had to pay to get them re-installed. If I could do it again, I would go with Yukon's or richmond just because they have been around a long time.
