Default BDS 4.5 inch or 3 inch suspension lift

I just got my new 2012 4 dr Jk and I am having a BDS lift installed. I will be running 35 inch tires and looking for advice on whether I should go with 3 or 4.5 inch suspension lift. I have heard good things about the 3 inch. I have also heard the 4.5 inch may require a drive shaft upgrade or may cause drive shaft problems. Anyone have the 4.5 inch BDS lift that can share their experiences?

This is not my daily driver it is more of toy to tool around town and some offroad fun. I will also be driving some highway miles when traveling to the hunting camp.

I appreciate any advice.

Thanks"

I have the 4.5" and with no wheeling, you WILL need to replace the shaft. Mine lasted about 4k miles and blew out last weekend. Not my DD either and haven't wheeled it so highway driving will require a new one eventually....

P.S.- you'll also need to shave a corner off of the right rear bump stop or it'll hit the bolt on the track bar....
