No I don't want a 44. I want to be able to put a selectable locker up front without worrying about its strength integrity. Let me know any ideas. Thanks

i see in your profile that you're running a 4" long arm kit and would it be safe to assume taht you're running maybe 35" or 37" tires? if so, and if you're that determined to lock up your front end and NOT to get a 44 - good luck to you.

I don't run an selectable (I run a spartan) but this is the kit I bought
Off Road Evolution JK EVO 44 Magnum Sealed Axle Sleeves & C2 Package (1046-1005-1006-KIT))

Edit: I also wouldn't trust the 30 with anything over 35's and thats probably pushing it.

a lot of good sleeves and gussets aren't gonna do when you've got a broken axle shaft or worse.

I have seen D60s blow. Nothing is bombproof, especially D30s

There is NOTHING you can do to a 30 that will satisfy your demand. There are things you can do to make it BETTER but you cannot meet your criteria of-"I want to be able to put a selectable locker up front without worrying about its strength integrity."

my JK is still on my first 30.. Wifes.. lol, bone stock only on mild trails 2nd.. The 30 isnt worth the time, money or effort. Rubi 44 with sleeves and gussets is more durable. Im saving for pr44, never past 37s for me. You spent the money to have a good flexy long arm, save for something stronger for the axle. Dependability is key. Good luck.. You could try the RSR exterior kit, plus the EVO kit, plus the PJ kit.. maybe then you will only break the axle, not the housing.
