Default 35'x12.50 MTs Air Down?????

just ordered my 35x12.50 r15 goodyear MT/R with Kevlar sidewalls. 12.50 is a wide tire and should do fine on the beach, but bc its an MT, will i still have that "shovel" affect? is airing down still necessary , other then it being easier on my motor?

I run my 315/70/17 MRT/k's at 15psi off-road, and it makes a very noticable difference in sand. At road pressures it feels like its digging all the time. Air down to 15 and it moves much more easily.

I'm running mine 28-29 psi, getting good wear on them.

I have 315-70/17s and run 26psi on road and 9-12 off road on stock wheels. Lower pressures on snow. This is on a 2dr. You should use the chalk test to determine your on road pressure.
