Default 39.5 Iroks or 40 MTR/k?

I'm bumping up next month and have narrowed down to these two tires. I do mainly slow speed rock crawling. Wondering what those of you who have run either of these think. Any input is greatly appreciated. Obviously the IROKS are substantially cheaper but price is not that big of a deal in my decision.

Daily driver but only limited mileage, maybe 20 miles a day on average.

Off road iroks for sure. I also dont mind them on pavement. Theres always a compromise either good street or good off road never going to have best of both worlds

It seems like everyone around here with a buggy is runnin IROKS and everyone with a jeep runnin that size tire s is running them as well. The MTR/k just look badass and I was hopin I could get talked out of them.

MT/Rs are VERY difficult to acquire right now, especially in the bigger sizes. You really don't have much choice unless you "know a guy".

Good to know! That makes the decision easier

It takes a special person to deal with Iroks in a daily driver, especially 20 miles a day. That's my commute and it would drive me crazy. Not to mention the abuse on your steering. For a daily driver, the MT/Rs will be significantly more road worthy and are still awesome and strong on the trail. That's my opinion anyway. :-)

I'd say that with the radial version of the Irok's, the OP shouldn't have any major issues DD'ing it, as compared to the bias ply version.

As long as we're playing the game, 07JKDakotaEd, have you checked out any of the Pitbull tires? I've been in JK's with both the Rockers and the Maddogs, and they're both amazing setups.
