Default Rough trail wheel spacers by crown. Anybody use these?

Went to my local 4x4 shop to pick up some 1.5 spacers to finish my 2.5 Teraflex install. Thought when I called for prices and they told me the same cost as what spidertrax sell for that was what they sold.

However the spacers are Rough Trail. 6061 t6 aluminum. Grade 8 studs pressed, anodized, hub centric. The same specs as spidertrax.
They came with a dab of red threadlock, so I used my supply I already had and no instructions in the box. I used 95 ft lb to snug them up.

Kinda was weird when I installed the wheels as it seemed I kept tightening and tightening and tightening until the Wheel lug nuts got tight. Almost like the studs were seating themselves tighter into the aluminum spacer.

Has anybody used these or still does. Does the tightening seem. Normal?

Did you remove the retaining washers on the studs prior to placing the spacer? They have a tendency to cause minor to major problems. The washers allow the nuts to come off at speed.
