Most 15" wheels will not fit on the 2012 because of the larger brakes. I suggest 16 or 17". I went with 16". There are some 15" wheels that will fit. I know the MB 72 is supposed to fit. Check with a wheel vendor that is familiar with Jeeps, they should know others that will fit. It will be tight though with any 15".

For backspacing, you will want 4.5" or less.

Rubbing issues are not as much of a problem with the rim size, more of a backspacing and tire size issue. You can do a 32" tire with no rubbing and 4.5" BS. You can do 33", but will have minor rubbing on the fenders off road.
