Default Cat back questions!

Hey team. I'm going to be buying a new cat back system for my heep and I have a couple noob questions.
I'm getting the MBRP Off-road series cat back and there's three options
1.- Aluminized
2.- Stainless steel
3.- Coated.

Like i said, n00b question, But, Is there really that big of a difference/is there really a point to spending an extra 200 bucks on some black paint?
wouldn't you be able to get some high-temp paint and coat it yourself?

Help me out here fellas!

I have a flowmaster street muffler that get cooking hot and I sprayed it with VHT flame proof header paint and it's been about two years now and when I clean it it looks brand new so I would say get the cheep muffler and paint it all yourself! This VHT hi temp paint worked awsome for me and I did all the pipe up to the y-pipe and zero rust love it!
