Default cargo carrier for the trail.....

Looking for a hitch mount cargo carrier with higher clearance. roof rack is not an option and spare tire carrier has a weight limit that makes it undesirable.
I know the Valley carrier has a bit of a rise but i'm looking for more rise

The one in this picture is what im looking for, was designed and built by the owner, he never tried it on his JK

This is what I'm looking for, I find it hard to believe I'm the first to desire something like this

Also searched all over for some kind of riser, but no luck...

Default Rear Rack

I like the idea, it's great for hauling extra gear! I would contact a local weld shop and see what they could do for you!

Agreed. I'm in the same boat as you, OP. I think for a design with the proper ground clearance and stability for highway and off highway use, a local welding shop will be your best option.
