Default freakin stone guards

so im a newb to KC light scene.

yea the stone guards snap on easy.
but....i cant pry the damn things off.


any tips? before i end up crackin the damn things.

I leave mine off, they are a pain in the ass and they hold moisture my lights were always wet. I've been looking for something a mesh to go over them. Haven't found anything yet.

i have a nice set of soft covers i'd like to put on but i need to get the stone guards off first.

i grab em from both sides. 3 -4 fingers. pull one side. they come off eventually. its tough. but i have never felt like im going to break them.

Oh no you wont break them but when you finally get them off you want to break them.

Try a small flat head screwdriver... Pry one side up a bit, then the other. Don't use too much force or you may crack them using the flathead.
