Default Pic Request: 315/70r17 Duratracs on Stock Moabs

I have seen a few pics of these, but want to be sure before I make a purchase. Will the tires fit OK on a 7.5in wide wheel?

Nice! I assume there are some spacers in there?

Yes he has spacers. Not sure the exact brand or size he used. I personally really like the look of oversized tires on the stock moabs!

Goodyear's specs for that size say:

LT315/70R17
121Q
BSL
8.5-10.0
9.50
12.7
34.4
18
3,195@50
You might be a little loose on a 7.5" rim.

Thanks, what is the risk if the tires are loose? Is it a safety risk or just a leak risk? Or?

Loose? First I've heard of it.

Get yourself some spacers to get proper BS and you'll be fine. Just mind the sidewalls and always air 'em down. I made that mistake once, and 400 bucks later it won't happen again.

Personally, I'd be concerned about airing down (if you go wheeling) and also hard cornering. Might not be an issue but if it were me, I wouldn't risk it.

Just my .02.
