Default Does the Drake Billet knob fit Automatic on 2012?

Has anyone tried one of the Drake Billet knobs on the Automatic shifter on a 2012 JK? The catalogs say the Transfer Case knob will fit, and the 6 speed shifter will also but it doesn't flat out say if the 2011 knob is the same as 2012 with the new transmission.

How do you remove the old knob? Is it the same as postings with the 2007-2011?

Thanx

Anybody try any alternative to the stock shifter on the 2012 Auto tranny of any manufacturer?

Drake came out with a replacement. Since your tranny just slides into gear with no button (like 07-10) you can pretty much put any knob there.

Example: Google "Drake Pistol Grip Knob Wrangler" and you'll see.
