Egr valve
Ok, first post here. HI!
I am eagerly awaiting my '12 white JKU Rubi to arrive, hopefully this Monday. I have to fly out to Kellogg, ID to pick it up, but it'll be a great drive back to Portland, OR...can't wait.
In the mean time, I am selling my 2008 white JKU X. My issue...the check engine light recently came on. I had it checked and it's the EGR Valve (P0404 is the code that was thrown). I called a couple different places and apparently the Valve is on national back order (there are 7000 current orders, and only 500 in process of being built). So, is there an aftermarket option I could go with? There seems to be quite a few experienced people on here, so I'm hoping for a simple solution.
Hopefull for an answer so I can sell my current one and get my new one.
