Just got my new bumpers,,,,,
The bumpers I ordered from JCR OFFROAD in Kalamazoo Mich were done the other day. I made the 2.5 hour drive ( $60 in gas ,,,way cheaper than shipping ) today to pick them up. Kudo's to Brian and Eric for the help. They gave me a super tour of the shop and showed me how and where everything is made. I spend about an hour talking about future projects on my JK as well as picking Brian's brain about my wish list for my JK. I really appreciated the fact that while I was there they were willing to talk to me and answer all my questions without interuption or me feeling I was taking up their time. The bumpers looked super and I cant wait to get them finished.
One of my best friends owns a auto body show here in town. We are going to sand blast the bumpers, prime them , and then do a spray on liner. My buddie ordered the liner ( like line-x or Rhino ) from a company called SIM. Ill post pic's as sometime next week as we start the project.
Again.....props to JCR OFFROAD

At first I just ordered the back and it took about 3 weeks. They did tell me there was a short delay because 2 of their fabricators were going to Flordia to tape a segment of "truck U " for spike TV. When the back was done I decided what the hell I might as wekk get the front too....that took about 10 days. I guess it takes about a day for the build. However it depends on how busy they are.
