Since you'll be resting your Jeep on jack stands and removing the stock springs and sway bar links, have you thought about replacing your track bar & control arm bolts with NR4x4 upgraded bolts? There's a thread that talks about Chrysler using the wrong size bolts...Other then that it's a straight forward install just gotta make sure you don't over stretch the brake and ABS lines as you remove the springs...

Just installed mine last night. LOVE IT.

If you haven't read any of the installation threads on here and a few other sites, there are a few things to note when doing this install. I gathered this info from different threads and from trial and error last night.

1. Detach the brake line screw so you can get full flex on all wheels, and that you don't pull it out.
2. If your using a jack, make sure that your jack will go tall enough to drop the axle to the desired depth to drop the spring. I was right at the limit of my jack and will be purchasing a bigger one for the future.
3. I had to detach the emergency brake cable from the J-hook behind the gas tank for the rear wheels. Not hard to do, just jack up the axle to release it. Also on the rear wheel, I had to detach a covered wire from the brake assembly(?) That is just to be sure not break anything.
4. Last thing, I hope you don't like your knuckles. Just kidding. I'm never really done anything to any of my Jeeps, so this was a first for me. I change the oil and all that easy stuff, but this was definitely more than what I have ever done to a Jeep, so I took it slow.

Another thing that I was thinking when I was installing this kit was. I should really be putting on rubi shocks and springs while I have all of this disassembled. That of course, is for another day.

Here are some pics of the difference from start to finish.

Random shot of the sway link installed: Make sure you grease the sway link nipple before install. Much harder after the fact.

It took me about 3-3.5 hours to do this by myself and I got stuck on a few things that I had to figure out on the fly. It's definitely worth it and I love getting rid of the factory rake. Know all I need to do is get myself some 33" AT's to make it look even better.

Good luck on your install. If you have questions, google search the installation of the leveling kit and you can find some decent info. Teraflex's installation paper is not very intuitive and the pictures suck. I'm someone that needs to see pics to understand the install better when reading the instructions.

I'm sure that there are different ways of getting this install finished, but these are things that I encountered. Happy wrenching.

It also only took 5 's, which isn't too bad.

Have fun!

I just installed 1" TeraFlex front coil spacers to eliminate the rake. Dont forget to unbolt the brake brackets from the frame and the axle, as well as the ABS lines. Also remove the axle breather tube from the differential side. That way they dont get hung up or damaged as you lower the axles far enough to remove the coil springs....
