Default Tires/lift installed pics and opinions

Got my lift and tires on, teraflex 2.5 with 35'' duratracs on level 8 trackers. The lift wasnt to bad, my friends refused to read directions so we had to go back and redo some stuff. They also kept going on about how I didnt actually need to tourque anything (their farm mechanics) but I insisted and all was well.

The jeep imo rides better than stock on nice flat highway. However on bumpy streets it kinda sucks. I think this is to the tires being max inflated....What do you guys run your duratracs at?

IMO the jeep looks b/a. Im so glad I got 35''s. I hav 4.10 gears and the power loss is not noticeable in the city. I drive very slowly so Im not noticing much of a change. However, I did drive highway for an hour on saturday and it was windy, Id look down and realize I was only going about 45 up hills lol.

The speedometer is still right on with the gps....Ive only gone about 60mph, I wonder if the descrepency comes at a higher speed.

I did manage 21 mpg on flat highway at 45 mph. About 16.5 going about 60 on hills and now im down to 13 in the city. But I look awesome lol.

Attached are some pics, one with a stock and new tire. One next to my friends stock rubi and one in my parents garage.

You can do a chalk test to get your exact psi but you will probably be looking in the high 20s/low 30s range. I run my 35" MTR/k at 29psi. Jeep looks good

setup looks awesome!

i have a rock krawler 2.5 max travel lift on 35'' duratracs, so my stance is similar. i have stubby bumpers front and rear and flat fenders, so its a bit different look, but i think as far as looks go its hard to beat a 2.5 lift for 35'' tires.

i run 35 lbs in my duratracs on the street. i may lower it a bit, i dunno. i havnt really tinkered with the pressure that much as 35 lbs fealt pretty good to me.

Looks good, like the side by side comparison. Wish there were more pic like that, lifted next to stock.

Looks great! IMO the 2.5" lift and 35's are perfect for JK's!
