Default How do I disconnect the wire on the top of a Dana 44 Rubicon axle?

I'm doing mods to my stock front Rubicon Dana 44 axle and need to pull the carrier. I removed the 8mm bolt and pulled the housing loose for the "coil" wire on the top of the diff. How do I disassemble the connector to allow the wires to pass thru the hole in the diff? Should be simple, but didn't want to break it.

I'll post pics tonight when I get home.

Thanks.
