Rough Country has a winch mounting plate that goes on the stock bumper, I've got one with a 9500lb winch and it works great. The reason I went with this setup is I'm bringing the Jeep overseas and some countries require that the bumpers have to be original equipment.

LoL , I was considering weight issues. I was gonna go with the tubeless AEV but looking for a lightweight full bumper so I just thought of just adding the winch to my stock bumper. But didn't stop laughing, should've thought of that before posting my thread.

I have the RC plate on my stock bumper with stubby end caps. Quite like it. There are others who have mounted the plate upside down and put the roller fairlead thru the front. You can search that thread on the forum. I will try to attach a pic of my front end from my mobile.
