Default Thank you Quadratec for doing the right thing

Ordered an AEV heat reduction hood and had it delivered directly to the body shop for custom painting. The hood arrived on Friday and was signed off on by the paint tech that was there. He didn't see any damage but didn't look close enough. When we looked closer today to go over the custom paint plan we notice damage to the back corner and a crease down the side as well as damage to the left side mesh. I called Quadratec and explained the situation and after sending over some pictures they agreed to send out a new hood right away without making me wait to send the other hood back. They could have been difficult and it might have been nasty since it was signed off on after all but they just took care of me the customer and did the right thing. Just had to tell this story. Too many complaints and not enough accolades. Way to go Quadratec! You have a customer for life.

By the way they were one of the few that had the AEV Hoods in stock.

So paying the shipping and freight charges got you. A hood that was damaged awesome glad they took care of you. I can't see paying extra money in " freight charges" for a hood I can get some where else with out.

Ok.....so now I am a dumb ass? Nice. One has a lower charge and shipping and another a higher charge with no shipping. In this case they were the only ones who had it in stock and they are physically closer but appreciate the positive comments in keeping with the thread

Default Quadatrec

I never had problems with Quadratec.
They have never given me trouble with damaged product returns.
Always matched pricing and shipping.
Only tryed two other vendors, (one charged me more then was told on the phone, and ups lost shipment, and took over a month to straighten out the problem) over $600 in limbo for a month.

Thumbs up

I agree Quadratec has good customer service. They have always steered me in the right direction in the past when I was about to order the wrong part. They have knowledgeable staff who will help when asked questions. I have bought many parts from them over the years and will continue to do so. I agree that usually we only hear the bad experiences.

If you know about Joe-Quadratec's "secret forum weapon"- you'll always pay less and get free shipping. He's hooked me up with many deals that I just shake my head at and wonder how they do it.

You know it's your money, you earn it. Why another worries if you save a bit here and there is really no business to anyone. If you want it and have the funds and feel comfortable about the price it's all good. And being in stock when you want it I see could be worth a bit more in my opinion.
