I have a 07 with Dana 30 in the front dana 44 in back and no tow package. I have researched and want to get this right. So I understand I need a new carrier for the front but not the back right?so i can order the one from northridge that yukon makes? ( dana 30 carrier for 3.73 and up) I plan on getting overhaul packages and install kit. Anything else I need?

I have read and read the forums. Man it's sooo hard to clarify. I am gonna call north ridge tomo if I don't get an answer. Somewhere I read carriers for front and back but I don't know with the back being a D44.

 

I would recommend giving NorthRidge a call, Dave has an amazing reputation in the Jeep community. He'll be able to answer that question with certainty. Good luck!

Just re-geared mine, you'll need a carrier for the Dana 30, 3.73 and up but not the rear Dana 44.

Jim, what year is yours and what were your stock gears in the back?

 

I have a 2012 JKU, originally came with 3.21 and regeared to 4.10
