Anyone do anything unique and different when painting their AEV hood? Let's see um.

I am also curious too!!! Anyone have an AEV hood, but do something similar with the black decal like on the Mountain and Arctic editions?

 

At work so I cant post pictures but check out my profile for pictures of my AEV Heat reduction hood. I love it. When driving ing cold weather you can see the heat rise out of the vents. It looks bad ass. The only problem I have is my own fault. I did not do a good enough job painting the vents black so the paint is chiping already.

 

I thought the vents were already black. I am custom painting mine two colors this week. I have a natural green pearl jeep and am painting the center section silver. I wanted to see if there were other examples out there before they started painting.

 

The vents come stainless. check out quadratec.com they have some good pictures of what the vents look like unpainted.

 

Just got my hood last week the vents now come black and you can get them stainless for extra money.

 

Mine gets delivered today!
