Default Going from BFG KM2 to BFG All-Terrain

Right now I have KM2's on it..35x12.50R17 i need new tires and really interested in the All-Terrains. They have a set of 35's but their "37's" measure out to 36.3 and weigh the same as my KM2s now (66.4). Needless to say i have a teraflex 2.5'' coil lift and seems that i will have room for them, any thoughts or experiences?

Thanks

I had them on my F150 and they were great. I also have them (2nd set) on my XJ. Tread wear is awsome, I got over 90k on my last set. My only complaint is they're not to great in the rain, but they are predictable, not scary bad. It may be more the XJ than the tires. Hell I bought them again when I wore them out... I don't remember having that problem with the F150 but I sold it 15 years ago.

I had some BFG ATKOs on my KJ and put 75k on them and still had tread left! I was shocked and I wheeled the hell out of them. Sure I had some chunks missing and a few plugs but they were still good. I highly recommend them. However, with that said I have heard that BFG did change the compound and they are wearing down quicker. What that is I do not know but I am sure it is still better than any MT.

I had the AT's on my 66 Ford Bronco, 2000 Toyota Tacoma and now on my JKU...they've been great on all of my vehicles. As said above, they wear great and are quiet. I'd love to have some MT's, but my JK is my daily driver so the AT's suffice just fine. I'm considering the Falken Wildpeaks/Rocky Mtn's for my next set of tires due to cost and generally good reviews, but I would still certainly recommend the BFG's!

There have a been a few times where people running M/T tires have had an easier time over things like wet rocks but he was still able to get over it with a bit more effort.

Here are some pics

any clue what his lift is?

I ran a set on my YJ. Thought they would never wear out, like the tread was half iron or something. I sold them after 50k miles and they still had another 20k or more in them. They are a great compromise for someone who spends most of their time on the street with some mild offroading. One word of caution, they absolutely suck in real mud leading to them being called mall-terrains by some of the rednecks around here. Of course, those same guys think my Duratracs are street tires.

It is often found when putting shocks and springs from a rubicon with the tow package onto a sport or Sahara without the tow package results in a small lift.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
