Default Well that's not right....Bestop Grill Guard

So after roughly 4 months I FINALLY got my grill guard for my Bestop Highrock bumper. However when I went to put it on I noticed this.

Ummm....I don't think it fits quite right.

Has anyone else gotten the grill guard for this bumper? The instructions show it mounting on the outer edges of the bumper, but the pre-drilled holes on mine are on the lower flat part where the winch mounts. I'm waiting to hear back from my local Bestop reseller as I can't see any way to really make this work unless I fabbed up some sort of brackets.

How was it supposed to mount to the bumper? Definitely a problem.

Looked at some pictures online, and that grill guard looks like the one used on the TJ highrock bumper. The JK grill guard has different bends in it. Looks like they sent the wrong one?

Compare the two pics on quadratec and you'll see what I mean

It's supposed to mount to the flat part of the bumper, same plane as the winch sits on. You can see the mounting holes in the second pic I posted.
