Default Jeep Badge Horror

I have a 2012 JK that's been blacked out.

A few months ago I bought a new badge, got my local garage to scuff it up and apply some matt black paint....two months later it's all peeled off.

Tomorrow I have a new chrome badge arriving. What lasts longer bedliner, plastidip or something else?

Can't stand the chrome!

Also, I live in the UK so none of this stuff is available here - I'll have to get it off ebay.

I'd hit it with bedliner, I did my hinges 2 years ago and they're still holding up great.

Bedliner all the way, though plastidip is nice if you think you will ever need to remove it.

home depot sells rustoleum bed coating... also most auto parts sell some sort of spray on bed coating. such as the duplicolor bed coating. i used the rustoleum on my front grill and its holding up great so far.

I know you can order it through amazon (at least amazon.com couldn't find it on amazon.co.uk) raptor liner / lizard skin / herculiner I don't have experience with any of these products, but a buddy painted the inside of his CJ with raptor and it has held up great.

Your problem is the chrome. You have to sand it with a fine grit sand paper and apply a primer then the finish paint you want to use. The polished chrome finish will keep peeling off whatever you paint directly over it.

Sorry about all the questions, but will I need to sand and prime the logo even if it's bedlined?

I would also check out Summit's website they carry a lot of paints and paint style accessories.
