Default 2011 unlimited hard top/soft top question

Have a 2011 unlimited sport hard top. If I get a soft top and all hard wear can I still put the hard top back on when the soft top is down and hard wear is still on? Thanks!

On mine I can have the soft top down with the hard top on.... I have a 2011 Rubicon unlimited... It folds up right inside the rear window and doesn't get in the way....

Do you think it matters that it's a Rubi and mines a Sport? Thanks for the quick response!

doesn't matter on the model.. but why are you doing that? its so easy to remove the soft top with just 4 screws and then its not an obstruction when trying to get into your trunk.

Because I have a hard top that I love but live in TX and it's hot as hell. So I would use the soft top in summer cause I can put it up and down by myself. Super hard to take the hard top back off by myself and I have no room for a hoist or storage! Just was more wondering than anything. Can pic up a new soft top and hardware for dirt cheap that's all! Thanks!

gotcha.. yea storage can be a PITA unless you have a willing friend who will let you barrow garage space.

Default Hard or Soft?

Don't you have to remove plastic door frames when switching from soft to hard? (Yes, my 2010 JKSU soft top requires plastic door frames to seal around full doors.)

I have a Harken Hoister in my garage so I can change tops by myself in about 1/2 hours. I switch to hard top whenever I travel on business and change back to soft for the weekends.

Yes remove the plastic door surrounds before putting your hardtop on.
