Looking to get a winch installed, not too crazy offroader yet but would rather be safe then sorry. This is also my DD so looking for least amount of weight but something that can pull me out. Also will mount on stock bumper with winch bracket. Thank you!

 

Most of the winch specs now list the winch's weight. One of the easiest ways to trim some weight from the winch is to get one with synthetic winch line rather than steel cable. That alone might cut up to 40lbs.

You'll also want to steer clear of the Powerplant winch series that integrates an air compressor. They are solid units, but add even more weight.
