MB72 's Fixed My Steering
Real long story short. I bought a JK with 18" wheels with 35" tires. By switching to the MB72 15's with 35's I was able to cut almost 24 lbs on each wheel/tire. For a grand total of almost 100 lbs. of unsprung weight. This was my main reason for doing so. Plus in the long run I would save on tires.
In the mean time the steering had been very "swimmy". Especially at highway speeds. So after reading posts on this board I had set myself up to get new front lower control arms to fix my alignment and steady up my LOOSE steering.
Well after adding the MB72's everything is good as gold. I am assuming it is one of two things. Less weight on the steering items (now the stock jeep steering parts can control the lower weight..... OR With the new offset of the MB72's.... it has fixed my alignment by pushing the wheels further out and in turn fixing the angle.
Either way... I am ONE HAPPY DUDE!
