Default 35 mtr/k's and no lift.

I have my lift that will be getting put on wensday. I'm just curious to if I can throw my 35's on today and just cruise around til then. I trimmed the pinch seem and have a 2" spacer up front.

Should be good. Only thing that rubbed for me was the back of the front bumper and the stock rubi rails at the pinch seam. Drove it like that for a week

Awesome. I was nervous it would rub too much.

How important is it to trim the pinch seam?

What actually comes into contact with the pinch seam? The tire tread, sidewall?

It was just too close for me to be comfortable with. After my tires were on I was happy trimmed it..

Your Jeep looks great!

I like the all black look on the wheels/tires

What rims are those? Every time I look at black rims they always seem to have chrome/silver accents and I think my flame red jk would look better with all black wheels like you have

Is that photo before or after lift?

Thanks!

I have the stock 17's now, is there an advantage to smaller wheels/bigger tires?

I know someone mentioned a problem with smaller rims hitting the calipers...

A lot of the steel 15" wheels end up rubbing the calipers a bit, most alloys don't have that problem. As for advantages, tires are cheaper, there's more sidewall to flex around rocks and IMO, more sidewall looks better. Disadvantages are the fitment of some, options for tires over 35" are limited, and you can't run bigger brakes if you wanted to.

There are more advantages/disadvantages but those are the major ones. I'm running 15x8 MB72's and love them.
