so ive been looking around and cant find a straight solution. i wanna ditch my spare (for now) and put a third brake light on the back my jeep. where can i get a third brake light?

 

Don't think you can. U need something to mount it on. Unless you put it behind the glass in the rear window or mount it on the roof or in your tail gate

 

You can probably find one at any Auto Parts store and use the same wiring by adding a connector if you want to go back and forth. You can probably use one of the existing bolt holes and make a simple bracket.

 

Body armor has a 3d brake light that mounts right to the back door, using the existing hardware. Otherwise, get one of the 3d brake lights that goes in your trailer hitch receiver

They come in a variety of sizes and incorporate brake, turn, backup and taillights into 1 LED light bar. It's pretty cool I think, this may be my next project. I've seen a JK with this mounted in between the rear bumper and the tailgate.
