Anyone near Newark DE have experience installing the Bushwacker flat flares? I would love to find someone who wants to be my new best friend and help me with the install.

Problem also is that I work weekends. So my free time is usually a few days during the week. Figured I would ask, just incase there was someone who had a day to kill.

Just got mine today

PS: You think its going to take a day? whole weekend for me

 

I have read 6-8 hours. If i do it alone, Ill do 1 a day. May take over a week but it will get done. I cant order my tires for another couple weeks anyway.

 

I got help and it took every bit of 4 hr's and that was opting out the rear inner fender.

Ill give my stock flares to the experienced person who helps installs my bushwackers. Im using the front liners though. Just a thought.

 

Did you guys read WOL's writeup on project-jk.com? It didn't look THAT bad. That being said, I am starting my install tomorrow.......I may eat my words

 

just installed the front passenger side today. took 3 hrs. 1st time doing it so a little inexperienced. all i can say is lining up the holes when installing the actual flare onto the base is a bi@tch. that and trimming the inner fender. will do the driver side tomorrow and the rear when i have a weekend to kill. of course the more beers you chug the longer it takes

 

The first one takes the longest after that they go faster for each wheel well. Easily done in one day, especially with help.
