So I took my jeep into the dealership to get the throwing bearing replace and it has been overheating on me. I got the ext warranty from the dealership and it's thru another company. 100,00 mile 4 year. The warranty company wanted to remove the radiator and the tranny to see the problem and to see if they were gonna pay for it. They decided thy were paying for the throw out bearing but not the radiator do to mud in it. Which is fine i understand but now since THEY wanted the radiator removed to look at it and now since they won't cover it they are leaving me to pay for labor cost for it to removed and to install it back in. I'm sorry but why would I have to pay for something that they wanted to do. I'm calling them in the morning to raise hell. I'll settle for them to pay just for the removal and Ill pay for the install which I see is fair. Sorry I just had to vent lol

OK, this isn't a Jeep warranty issue... but its similar. I moved into a house that had a warranty. I ended up having a plumbing leak and it was covered by the warranty... they sent out a plumber, he couldn't find a leak and left. I still of course had problems... called them again and they sent out a plumber again... couldn't find leak and left. So now I'm getting annoyed so I open the wall myself where I think the leak is, walla found the leak. Called the company they sent the plumber out and fixed the leak... but guess what. They wouldn't pay me to repair the hole in my wall because the plumber didn't cut the hole, I did. OK... so the plumber uses my hole to fix the leak, even cut it just a little bigger. So how is it they wouldn't pay!?!

Still annoyed about this and its been a few years LOL... rant over.

At least someone knows my pain but what I wanna tell them is your warranty company is willing to warranty a jeep wrangler. I would say 75% of anyone who buys a jeep bought it because they are more than likely an off road enthusiast. Why would you be shocked to see mud. And I know for a fact there wasn't that much in there becuz I sprayed my radiator out to try and fix the problem.
