Default XRC bumper X20 winch front end sag with 2.5 ProComp lift-- How to compensate?

Hello,

I know this topic has been dealt with before, but i would really appreciate if someone could give me some info that actually relates to my specific situation.

I have a 2011 JK with manual transmission, a 2.5" ProComp suspension lift and 35" tires. This weekend I will be installing SRC rockguards, an XRC winch-bumper with X20 winch and a lightbar-- obviously a lot of weight, especially in the front.

I am expecting some sagging in the front (probably overall as well) and would like to know how I can best offset this? Ideally, I would like to add about 1" in the front and 3/4" in the back-- but how? Can this be done with a body lift, or are there other options. Needless to say, I am now strapped for cash and cannot spend more than $200 on the solution.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

Best,

Oliver

I was just looking up same thing and ran across this in the Q&A sticky:
Q: I just installed a heavy duty bumper and winch and now the front of my Jeep is sagging. Is there any way to help regain the height that I lost?
A: You can install a set of 3/4" coil spacers to help make up the difference. Or, if the manufacturer of your lift offers a set of heavy duty front coils, you should consider installing a set of them instead.

Yes, I have read that. Does this mean that I can use a coil spacer with my 2.5" lift? How much can I add before I get into problems with the geometry of the drive-shaft, shifter, steering, etc? Are there any coil spacer that are significantly better than others?

Also, what would a body lift get me over a coil spacer (or not get me?)

Thank you,

-ok

How much weight up front you adding with the bumper/winch/light bar, lights, etc.? Do you have geometry relocation bracket, etc already?

The easiest and cheapest way is just to add some spacers, there are many companies that make them. If you want to fine tune it look at JKS ACOS, they are adjustable coil spacers. If you need help finding something let me know.

Thanks,
Bryan
