Default 34" tires, If's, And's, But's

I have been told not to put 35" tires on my new 2012 JK. The argument is that I wheel too aggressively (lead foot), and my dana 30's will not take the added weight/abuse. I am not keen on 33's want something a little bit bigger. My new thinking is to possibly bridge the gap and go with 34's. I plan on putting on a 2.5" coil lift, but run my stock (Sahara) fenders. I understand that I may rub at a full flex, but I don't plan on flexing my jeep that much. My jeep is my daily driver. What are the pro's and con's to running 34's?

If you have 35's you won't have to wheel as hard. Problem solved!

I know I love mine and can't wait until they wear out so I can join the 37 club.

You aren't running them at 40 psi are you?

So I shouldn't worry about breaking my front Dana 30 due to a 35" tire?

"C" gussets are a good idea but unless your hauling ass (its a jk, come on....) On a section of whoops or jumping and slamming the front end alot, you will be fine.

Saying goes.... If you are thinking 35's, get them cause if you get 33's, you will regret it. Don't wheel like a re-re, take it easy on the skinny, take the proper lines, and you will be happy with 35's.

You're only talking 1"-1 1/2" average difference really... so, get roped up and make up your mind...

Also keep in mind, the more "odd" sized tire you get, the harder it is to find a spare in a pinch..... 33's & 35's are common, 34's - not as much
