not sure where this fit in the forum so i chose here...I have a constant squeak when only in reverse sound seems to go with the revolutions of the wheels its coming from the back end of the jeep also this noise just recently started. Was thinking maybe its the brakes but they jeep only has 48k on it but has been moderately seeing trails. Also took a peak at the brakes with the wheels on seems to be running low...anyone have any opionion on what it may be? or should i just replace the brake pads anyway?

I just made a thread about the same thing. I have 7k miles and only in reverse sometimes. Hopefully i don't think it would be the brake pad for my situation

 

You may want to keep an eye on both of your rear calipers. My JK squeaked for about a month, maybe more, before my caliper really started to hang up and drag the brakes.

It started off pretty innocent -- a squeak here and there when backing up in the morning. Maybe one squeak as I pulled forward. At it's worst I'd get a couple of squeaks when driving forward too.

Then one day driving home, I smell brake pads cooking.....
