So I am refinancing my Jeep to get some cash for Tires and Gears. I might be able to squeeze a little extra for some little odds and ends I Need/want or I could try to sqeeze some for Rocker Guards I have been looking at for a while Smittybilt SRC Rocker Guards

What do you guys and gals think? Any one have good luck with them? Should I wait ang get something better? Or should I get som of the other little stuf on my wishlist?

No personal experience but I've not heard good things about smittybullt products. FWIW, I have Poisen Spyder rocker knockers and like them very much.

 

Really? I have one of there winches and so far no issues. What kind of bad press have you heard?

In general, that they are poorly made overseas products with quality and fitment issues. Again, not speaking from personal experience. Just what I picked up along the way.

If I search the forum long enough I'll find the same comments about the Poison Spyder stuff I love. Haha, you know how it is......

Yeah I have heard they have issues lining up. Nothing not easily fixed tho.

 

I have noticed no one has asked what the little mods I am looking at are.

 

I haven't heard any bad press about smitty-bilt products, in fact those are the exact rockers that i am looking at and they are priced very well compared to other rocker guards. I would go for those instead if the small mods,i did the small MODS first and now i'm working on the big mods, did it backwards but i love how the inside of my Jeep looks.

 

Well wish me luck. Tomorrow morning I go to the bank to see how much money I can get . If I can get enough I believe I will be ordering the Smittybilt rock guards
