Default How i fixed my rough ride

I've got an 07 Sahara JKU,. The ride has been really bad. I'm driving 60 miles a day and my back is a wreck. It was stock except for a Teraflex S/T swaybar. I took it to Off road warehouse and John was very helpful and took it for a test drive. He agreed that it was riding rough, even for a jeep. He diagnosed that my swaybar was binding, rather than sell me some stuff I might not need. We also noticed that I had been bottoming out the front suspension frequently. I fixed the sway bar binding issue, it was a combination of some rust and misaligned bushings. With that problem solved it was still evident that I was bottoming out on the rotten California roads going to work each day, so today I installed a Teraflex performance leveling kit and Bilstien shocks,

I took a drive and I'm glad to say the ride is much improved. It a little firmer on the little bumps, but the bigger bumps that used to send a knife into my back are much smoother. It handles great too. It's about double he shock travel on the front, I should alo note that the rear axle also showed evidence of bottoming frequently. I'm very happy tonight
