Default Tell me about Hanson Offroad Rock Sliders...Install and Quality!?!?

Buying some rock sliders in the next week or so.
Pretty sure I will be going with EVO Rock Sliders but, for the longest time I was looking at the Hanson Rock Sliders.

If you have them installed, show them, and tell me everything you have to say about them...Install, quality, finish, how much abuse have you put them through, how they are holding up, etc.

I like the EVO's too, but someone told me they were on back order. Anyone know if this is true?

The Hanson rockers are a really nice piece. They are mounted with Nutserts into the tub and mount along the pinch seam. They will take some hits.

If you planning on playing hard in the rocks, I would go with the EVO sliders. These sliders are welded to the frame and will hold up to anything you can throw at them. This will open up the Frame mount vs body mount debate...

We just cleared out most of the back orders, but as always we sell these as fast as we can build them

That's what it looked like, I really dig them but having something that I'm going to smash rocks against bolted straight to the tub makes me nervous...

I just got my ACE rock sliders on .... super easy to install and very low cost, save for some other things was my rationale... I have some pics in my related thread.

If I remember correctly, there are 11 bolts (on each side) along the lower pinch seam holding the slider to the body. The slider is quite heavy and strong. The 4 nutserts (on each side) are mostly to keep the slider from bending outward. I have slid on rocks and reguarly use the step without any problems to the body. Being attached to the body gives the jeep a little extra ground clearance.

Since I live in Texas, I don't have to worry as much about corrosion from snow and ice removal like our northern friends.
